A comprehensive list of services that we offer, along with pricing is in the making.  For now this will give some idea of what we will be doing by mid-summer of '08.

Computer Sales and Service.

We are marketing several computers for desktop workstations, and workstation/servers.  These are very capable dual core units that we assemble and test here. They come with GNU/Linux installed and configured, delivered to your site, and installed onto your desktop. Details of these will be added here this week.

We can provide and install nearly any hardware you may require. From computers to networking components and media.  After installation we can also provide training where desired.  This is perhaps our greatest strength, and also our largest value.  Many retailers sell machines, some also sell the additional components requred to set up a modern 'net-enabled business, but very few provide even minimal installation services on computers and network hardware.  We can provide for all of these needs, we do so exclusively with Free and Open Source Software(FOSS), and we offer training on the use of these technologies to get you moving smoothly forward securly and successfully.

Our goal is to sell you hardware that meets your needs, set up for you with software that is useful to you, then deliver and install it at your site.

Training

One-on-one or for a group.  We are anticipating this to be our most popular service.  Our research shows that very few small business owners, the most likely to be able to profit from the many advantages of FOSS, even know what things like GNU/Linux really is, let alone are able to capitalize on it's use.  Your success is paramount to us, in order for us to succeed in executing our charter we need to have as many SMBs become knowledgable about GNU/Linux and Free/Open Source Software as possible so owners can make educated decisions regarding what to use, when, and how in order to enhance the bottom line.

Our training can be in useage of various FOSS applications; including but not limited to general use if the GNU/Linux desktop, office productivity software such as OpenOffice.org, email and contact management clients, etc.  Or we can teach you how you can utilize a computer as a fileserver for central data management, or other server technologies.  Things that, from proprietary software, can be had only with additional license fees and restrictions on where and how you can use them.

Cost Savings

Because GNU/Linux's resource needs are so low, you can continue to use existing workstations! Or even repurpose machines to do work productively that you would otherwise have thrown and recycled because they do not meet the heavy requirements of modern proprietary software such as Microsoft Vista.

This information is not exclusively for the business sector though; for homeowners, enthusiast groups, lodges, and other organizations, we can show you the quality of GNU/Linux and how using FOSS will free your users and data centers from being locked-in to any one vendor's technology and gain the security and stability everyone needs.
